2024
Music for an Autumn Afternoon
At our Autumn concert on Saturday 26th October at St Mary’s Church, Bentworth we gave a concert in aid of the church, Dementia Friendly Alton and Alton Choral Society featuring hits from Andrew Lloyd Webber, excerpts from Les Miserables and solos from Alison Crow, Nancy Buck, David Sheraton and Patrick Busby.
At our Summer Concert on Saturday 29th June at Alton Methodist Church we sang excerpts from Rutter’s Magnificat and a new work by J Bateman in aid of the Mission Aviation Fellowship.
We were also delighted to take part in a concert as part of the Alton Arts Festival at St. Lawrence Church on Sunday 7th July.
At our Easter Concert on Good Friday March 29th at Alton Methodist Church we sang Stainer’s Crucifixion in aid of St Michael’s Hospice
2023
We joined Ancora and the Alton Concert Band for the ever popular Wonder of Christmas on Saturday 9th December at the Alton Maltings in aid of Home-Start
For our Autumn Concert we sang a variety of Madrigals, a medley from ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ plus other delights.
In our 150th Anniversary Concert
in aid of Bushy Leaze Children and Families Centre
we sang much of Handel’s Messiah as the forebear of our choir sang in 1873.
The concert was held at St. Lawrence Church on Saturday 1st July,
Our Easter Concert featured music by Fauré (the Requiem and the Cantique de Jean Racine) in aid of the ShelterBox charity on Good Friday April 7th at Alton Methodist Church

The ever popular The Wonder of Christmas on Saturday 10th December at the Alton Maltings with Alton Choral Society, Ancora and the Alton Concert Band in aid of Home-Start
Our Autumn Concert (Saturday October 29th) at St Lawrence Church, in aid of Alton Foodbank charity featured excerpts from Karl Jenkins’ Armed Man, pieces by John Rutter and other much loved classical items
Our Easter Concert featured Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem and other popular anthems
